Vehicle Description 1966 Oldsmobile 442 Pro Touring Frame off w New LS3, Pride Of ownership, in high school the owner of this 66 442 car had the same year car, later in life his then girlfriend in high school now his wife of over 50 years decided together to build the car you see now and make it reliable, comfortable and accessible to any dealer to service the car, there plan to drive across route 66 from California to Chicago, this trip took 6 weeks and the car performed flawlessly and was serviced by the chevy dealer w oil and fluids checks along the way.
The car has 12000 miles since a complete professional build and is now available after the passing of the owner.
A very straight original Black California plated 442 was used to start the journey:
Disassembled, a quality two stage paint process, block sanded and very straight, all new trim, chrome, weather stripping, body gaps excellent no rust prior or present, Interior is stock and excellent, upgrades are complete re wire of car, upgraded gauge cluster w GPS speed, all other gauges were rebuild including the clock, lights are upgraded too led, Bluetooth stereo, power steering and upgraded Willwood brakes package, tach, vacuum gauge also working.
Interior and trunk sound deadened.
Vintage AC And Heat also installed working well, title steering wheel.
Motor is new LS3 w mild cam, head work, headers, and dual exhaust, very tame sound, Ls460e transmission, upgraded cooling system runs 180 w the AC on, Upper and lower Control arms tubular, upgraded shocks, sway bars, steering rack, car drives like a new car.
