Revenue Cycle, Director
Position
Summary:
We are looking for a strategic leader that will be directly responsible for our RCM services division and help us grow substantially over the next few years. The RCM Director will provide management oversight of revenue cycle engagements to ensure delivery of defined results and deliverables. RCM Director will work with Clients, US Account Managers and offshore managers and ensure successful RCM delivery. The Director is accountable for all Revenue Cycle functions for the entire line of business. He / she must stay up to date with regulatory requirements and will ensure timely staff education of those changes.
Note: This position is focused on Physician billing and Ambulatory surgery center billing.
Primary
Responsibilities:
This is an executive position that has complete accountability for the RCM division. Responsibilities include:
o Build and foster relationships and trust with key clients; understand clients' needs and objectives
o Oversee RCM operations (onshore and offshore) to ensure top notch service delivery
o Assist and lead identification, developing and closing of engagement opportunities
o Manage multiple client engagements and ensure expectations are reasonable and clearly defined in the scope of work
o Ensure engagements are completed within the agreed upon scope, time and budget and that client expectations are exceeded
o Mentor and coach Account Managers and Off shore Managers
o Work with leadership to identify and determine appropriate consulting delivery programs
o Travel to client sites and offshore sites
Experience:
o Ability to see the big picture and to help clients build a strategy prior to identifying and establishing engagement objectives.
o Proven ability to successfully plan, lead and execute multiple, complex engagements.
o Demonstrated ability to lead effectively in a matrix environment which includes the ability to influence resources to adhere to work plans where there are competing priorities.
o Deep functional experience in healthcare revenue cycle processes and technology
o Experience coaching, mentoring and developing Consultants in a variety of key skills including: relationship management, project management, staffing, and execution.
o Ability to communicate with individuals at various levels including hospital executives
o Excellent project management skills
o Strong management skills
Requirements:
o Proficiency in MS Excel, Access & PowerPoint
o Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred
o Experience leading large scale business transformation programs or implementations
o Minimum of 5 years' experience in executive roles in physician billing and/or ambulatory surgery center billing.
o Prefer candidates that have previously worked for other cloud based technology and revenue cycle companies such as Athena Health, Greenway Medical or Kareo.
o In depth knowledge of CMS regulations and HIPAA requirements
o Preferred CPC certification, HBMA or AHIMA membership.
o Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
o Live in the greater Los Angeles area with reasonable commute time to Woodland Hills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
