Director of Emergency Services

Interwest Search is seeking a Director of Emergency Services for our client hospital located in the Woodland Hills area.
Manage and coordinate Emergency Services; direct and supervise functions and activities; interpret policies, procedures, standards, and regulations as is appropriate to personnel, medical staff, patients, and public; and perform nursing duties as needed. Direct, coordinate, and administer the operations and activities of the department in order to effectively achieve the organization's established goals; assess and evaluate care/services provided, staffing levels, competence, and educational needs of all employees and effectively coordinate and control resources. Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication and development and implementation of organizational and department policies/procedures; maintain an environment for continuous quality improvement; and be responsive to organizational change and community needs.

Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California required. Baccalaureate in Nursing or equivalent required. Masters in Nursing or equivalent preferred. Current BCLS card required. Certification in specialty area is preferred. Minimum of 2 years acute hospital clinical nursing required. 3-5 years previous management at the Director level required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
