The Junior Accountant role will review and reconcile Cash, A/R, and A/P accounts, and perform revenue audits.
A strong candidate will be a solid team player with a strong work ethic, and should possess excellent time management and attention-to-detail skills.
This is a hybrid position with some days in our Woodland Hills, CA office.
Responsibilities include:
Review cash activity on a weekly basis and prepare journal entries to record the activity into the financial system Review and classify company credit card activity Monthly Bank, A/R, and A/P general ledger account reconciliations Assist the Accountant with the monthly close process.
Review of AR aged balances, research discrepancies, and work with other team members to resolve outstanding issues Review and reconciliation of revenue activity Preparation of monthly / quarterly reports for management Prepare other ad hoc reports as required Requirements:
Strong attention to detail while working efficiently Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience using Microsoft Excel formulas Familiarity with Quickbooks is a plus Job Type:
