This position is responsible for planning, preparing and cooking meals for individuals in a residential treatment program.
Ability to adhere to safety standards and proper food handling procedures are essential to this position.
Day-to-day responsibilities may vary.
Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
Plan, prepare, and cook meals according to the created menu for individuals in residential treatment program.
Ensure quality and quantity of meals based on client ratio.
Adhere to dietary needs of clients and ability to adjust to specific dietary needs as well as communicate and document these needs.
Adhere to safety standards when preparing, serving, and storing food.
Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies, food, and regularly used items.
Clean, maintain, organize, and sanitize cooking utensils equipment, and dishes in an orderly, organized, and safe manner according to accreditation requirements.
Discard outdated food items on a timely basis.
Properly clean/sanitize, maintain and organize all kitchen supplies.
Keep kitchen supplies properly stored.
Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen area.
Comply with HIPAA and other mandates regarding client care and confidentiality.
