Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Clerical assistant to undertake a variety of day-to-day office and clerical tasks within the healthcare industry.
The clerical assistant will act as a liaison between new hires and client facilities.
This involves communication and on-boarding of new hires, answering questions about the company's policies and procedures, facilitating with completion of new hire packet, and assisting with administrative tasks such as updating employee progress to leadership.
You will be an integral part in ensuring that our on-boarding process runs smoothly and are successful in supporting other business activities.
An excellent clerical assistant is, above all, a personable, patient, organized, competent professional with phenomenal communication skills.
You will be comfortable dealing with people and able to carry out clerical dutiesand task with accuracy and speed.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during their first days and weeks with the company.
Schedule and coordinate all aspects of new hire onboarding, including orientation and training.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new hires, providing guidance and support as needed.
Collect and track all new hire paperwork, and program progress by ensuring accuracy and completeness Monitor and report on new hire engagement and satisfaction levels Identify opportunities for improvement in the onboarding process and make recommendations to management Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information Perform other duties as assigned Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency.
Maintain files and records with effective filing systems.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proven experience in a clerical role Experience in customer service will be a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
Reliable with patience and professionalism Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Education and
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least two years of related experience required.
