As the Payroll Manager, you will maintain and calculate the entry of data, ensure accuracy and timely completion of payroll and benefit records, as well as maintain an accurate and current working knowledge of Momentum's in-house payroll system.

Responsibilities:
Ensures the accurate and timely generation of the agency payroll, including labor distribution, vacation accruals, overtime, and withholding status.
Processes 403(b) transfers and employee direct deposits Ensures timely National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) submission Ensures computation of withholdings or deductions and prepared accurately and timely; organizes and reviews forms associated with federal and state deductions Sets up employee payroll deductions, W-4's, processes manual checks, final paychecks, sets up and processes deductions, and withdrawals for 403(b) plan participants Processes and monitors year-end payroll closing Meets government reporting requirements for payroll taxes (as needed; bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually), withholdings, and payroll contributions Responds to Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and State correspondence regarding payroll matters Manages monthly payroll system check reconcilement procedures.
Prepares and distributes reports to Division Controllers for account reconciliation Processes company-wide W-2 reporting following required guidelines and regulations Ensures payroll records and payroll master files are current and accurate and will report any matters of interest.
Oversees day-to-day operations of the company payroll Supervises and trains department timekeepers on new and current regulations and procedures.
Ensures the payroll department follows company policy, procedures, and tax law when paying employees Performs other duties as assigned to meet department and/or business needs Education and Expierence Required:
Associate degree, in related field, required Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant payroll work experience, required.
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) from the American Payroll Association may be used for five (5) years of the ten (10) years of experience Additional
